Fitness 19 speaks to a broad demographic with creativity, energy, and authenticity. Inspired by iconic fitness apparel brands, sports, music, and pop culture I took Fitness 19 in a friendly, colorful, and contemporary direction.

The concept behind this graphic is raise brand awareness of Fitness 19 Gyms and showing that it is a gym for everyone by offering amenities like free weights for a more traditional body building workout and studio-style fitness classes like yoga & pilates. The woman is the dividing line between these two worlds deciding if she could have gone for one more set before her class. The 19 logo intertwining symbolize the Fitness 19 culture and lifestyle being part of her and vice versa.

My role at Fitness 19 Gyms is to create and protect the overall branding identity. To do this, I started with designing a Brand Standards Guide. This Brand Standards Guide was given to Fitness 19’s vendors to ensure the correct imagery, color palette, fonts were being used as well as the correct use of the Fitness 19 logo.

Being a franchise, Fitness 19 Gyms wanted to show Premium Members the participating locations they have have access too using their multi-club access on their screen displays within the clubs.

Fitness 19 Gyms often has promotions for referring a friend. I design table tents, posters, and referral certificates for these promotions.

7-Day Gym Pass Postcard Mailer

I chose to lead the art direction for this mailer a little bit differently than your average gym mailer for a couple of reason. Our marketing team wanted to target the coupon cutting communities to measure our ROI. I decided it would be best to show that our gym are conveniently located by showing a graphic that most people can relate to and makes the mail recipient imagine themselves going to the gym and calling the mail recipient "Neighbor". This also makes the messaging more personable, friendly. The "Work Out Local" emblem is another element I designed to add to my strategy, helping Fitness 19 Gyms feel more approachable rather than a huge overwhelming commercial gym for first time gym-goers.
